Alpha Beta

“alpha beta / αβ” explores imaginary alphabets and forms of asemic writing. Some pieces invent sentences. Some mimic poetic forms such as haiku. Still others present taxonomies of organic forms combined with incised languages like those found on ancient steles. All the forms – from the small embossed ‘letters’ to the rounded cast forms – are drawn from the ruins of pre-Phoenician sites on the island of Sardinia.
